October was full of surprises when Airfix made a surprise announcement of the Airfix 1:72 Avro Vulcan B.2 ‘Black Buck’ (with 2 schemes and 271 parts included), the new tooled Airfix A1379 1:35th Ferret Scout Car Mk. 2 (coming with 3 scheme options and 187 parts included) and then the re-issue of Airfix A02007V SR-N1 Hovercraft .We have stock of these.

Our National Airfix Aeronautical Model Engineering Competition 2023 for 2nd – 4th November 2023 at Air Force Museum is on track with our team doing the recce and planning on site this week (4th October 2023). Our monthly gathering on Saturday 30th September 2023 was mooncake festival theme, and we had lots of mooncakes. Lee Stringer bought his Star Wars concept Snowspeeder model from Empire Strikes Back , prototypes of the Me 262, while Bob brought his completed 35th tanks and Konstantin bought his completed figure model.
