Hobby Bounties March 2024 Newsletter

February was a busy month in that it was the Chinese New Year, as well as the biennial Singapore Airshow 2024. This year is the year of the Dragon in the Chinese Zodiac. The Singapore Airshow 2024 has a first for the Chinese Comac C919 being shown outside of China. Likewise was for the Chinese Changhe Z-10 attack helicopter.

Some of us modellers were active building Battlestar Galactica Colonial Vipers as well as classic Airfix 1:600 HMS Fearless, 72nd DHC Caribou, Star Wars Mandalorian N1 Starfighter, Airfix 72nd HRH Prince William’s Sea King etc.

On the hobby front, we continue to stock all the difference Cola ola themed trams, double decker buses, Volkswagen Camper vans and Beetles.

Next month, we have Australian modeller, John Bartram, visiting us in April 2024. We are trying to get interested modellers to meet him on Saturday 20th April 2024 from 2 – 5pm.
