Vulcan post released an Instagram video of Hobby Bounties on 21st May 2026 which generated more interest on what we do as hobbies. Thank you.

We had our monthly gathering on Saturday 30th May 2026 with a good turn out. Among the highlights are Razali Ahmad’s 1:72 scratchbuilt SNAC NC.1701 French aircraft which he put together on our video in less than 2 minutes. We had Julian Dewan’s 1:12 Porsche 911 Rally car with working lights, Konstance beautiful 1:72 North American P-51 Mustang, Paul Gallagher’s diorama picture planes, Lester Poh’s 1:72 Space 1999 Eagles transporter (which he changed the paper parts into plastic), and mine 2 versions of the Star Trek USS / ISS Enterprise NCC-1701.

Our new Hornby Hobbies shipment arrived too. Among the new Airfix are the new tooled 1:24 Messerschmitt Bf109G5/G6 super lots, the Airfix 1:48 BAC Lightning, the Airfix 1:72 D H Mosquito B.35 / TT.35, 1:72 Hawker Typhoon Mk1b, 1:72 Supermarine Spitfire MkXIX,1:72 N.A. F-51D Mustang etc

We are also proud of Jake Moon’s creation of Airfix Starter kits to attract new modellers to try this lovely hobby.
