Hobby Bounties’ July 2022 blog
We had our mini-Airfix Falklands War 40th anniversary competition https://www.airfixcup.com/competitions/15/results on Saturday 18th June 2022 together with the ‘Kits for kids’ charity event at ITE Central. We had 19 entries, of which 5 came from the schools. Even though it was an online event, many people were able to bring their completed models to display at ITE Central. We had a guest-of-honour, Tan Chuan-Jin, for the prize giving on Saturday. We are pleased that Kits for Kids managed to raise their targeted money for Shine.
Our next competition is the mini-Airfix AFV diorama competition which is held at Hobby Bounties shop on Saturday 13th August 2022. We are also in discussions with various potential places to host our annual ‘National Airfix Aeronautical Model Engineering Competition 2022’ in November this year.
