August and September were exciting months for us, as we have new releases such as the Airfix 24thSupermarine Spitfire MkVIII, Scalextric 1980s Batmobile, and the Meng Dune 72nd models of the Atreides and Harkonnen Ornithopters. Event wise, we had our mini-Airfix D-Day AFV diorama competition, the first Military Hobby Fest 2024 which we were sponsors, and the Kits for Kids charity event at ITE Central on Saturday 21st September 2024.

The Airfix D-Day AFV Diorama Competition on 17th August 2024 had a lot of Airfix AFVs from Lester Poh and a What If prototype SRN1 Hovercraft by Paul Doyle. Congratulations Lester Poh on your amazing range of build Airfix AFVs.

Then on the weekend of the 14th & 15th September 2024, we have the Military Hobby Fest at SAFRA Toa Payoh which we are proud to be sponsors for. On display were model of all the military crafts that have been to or in Singapore. There weretalks and other activities for this event, and it will be there next year again.

This weekend will be the Kits for Kids (K4K) event at ITE Central. Once again, there will be models built by students on display.

The next modelling event will be our annual National Airfix Aeronautical Model Engineering Competition at the Air Force Museum from 28th – 30th November 2024.
