This is the season to be jolly as we approach Christmas. It is time to think of presents for loved ones and ourselves.

There is no shortage of ideas. It looks like Hornby trains are the fashion this year.. we are very proud to stock the new Hornby TT 1:120 range of the ‘The Scotsman’ train sets, Hornby TT 1:120 Intercity 125 locomotives and coaches, as well as the track side accessories like the train stations, platforms and building.

Likewise we are also stocking thw new tooled Hornby OO garage locomotives. And to compliment this are the Corgi tracksides vehicles like the Corgi 1:76 Coles cranes etc.

You may remember that the Hornby TM7000 digital systems is the state of the art train digital chips which are programmable and controlled via mobile phones.

Not to be left behind are the Scalextric race cars sets and cars. This year’s focus as the film related cars from Batman (all versions from the classic to latest), Back to the Future Deloreans, Harry Potter’s Ford Anglia,

And on the Airfix front, there was the new Airfix 1:24 Supermarine Spitfire MkVIII, to compliment last year’s Airfix 1:24 Supermarine Spitife MkIX in D-Day invasions stripes. This year is the 80th anniversary of D-Day which was also our National Airfix aeronautical model Competition 2024 theme. There were many classic Airfix re-issues like the Airfix 1:76 Guards Band and Airfix 1:76 Guards Colour Party, Airfix 1:72 Bristol Belvedere, Airfix 1:600 HMS Ajax, Airfix 1:72Bristol Superfreighter & Airfix 1:72 Fairey Rotodyne etc. we eagerly await their Airfix 1:48 Westland Lysander.
